The Gatehouse is proud to announce that Art Lockhart, Founder of The Gatehouse and Vice Chair, Board of Directors, has been nominated as one of the fifty Champions of Change in Canada with CBC. Over 2,000 submissions were made from champions in various categories with Art being nominated in the area of Social Justice.
Humber College’s Lakeshore Campus was host to the Man-to-Man campaign, a project from Beyond Borders and The Gatehouse working to tackle the issue of sexual abuse toward children.
Beyond Borders is a non-profit Canadian organization working to raise awareness about the issue.
Arthur Lockhart is a justice studies professor and the founder and co-chairman of The Gatehouse, a community-based organization located near Lakeshore Campus where victims of sexual abuse can receive help in recovering. He suggested Beyond Borders launch their campaign at the campus because he thought it would be the ideal place ......

Holiday Teddy Bear Drive
Residents of Grand Harbour Condominuum at 2285 Lake Shore Blvd. Street West, held a Teddy Bear Drive in support of The Gatehouse,® during the 2007 holiday season. The Board of Directors of MTCC965 Condominium Corporation are great supportors of The Gatehouse and were pleased to offer their residents an oportunity to donate a teddy bear.
